The Carmiencke Family Album
  The Early Years Thru 1940's
The Family Surname comes from Albert Greenleaf Carmiencke
who is pictured above with his step-son Bayard Collier Thompson who is seen with
his father Bayard Taylor Thompson at the right.

Alice B. Collier, pictured above and between, originaly married Bayard Taylor Thompson and gave birth to Bayard Collier. She divorced Bayard Taylor and married Albert Greenleaf Carmiencke, who later adopted Bayard Collier when he was ten years old. The Carmiencke surname goes back to
Johann Herman Carmiencke, one of the Hudson Valley Painters. Bayard Collier's actual lineage goes back to Samuel Thompson born somewhere in New Jersey in 1782.
Bayard Collier at the age of 29 married Frances Catherine Ellison (Sis) Beverly, pictured left with their two sons Bayard Collier, Jr. and David Ellison Carmiencke. Collier Sr. right is with David at 2.
There are no photos of Walter E. Beverly, Frances'
father. We only have photos of her mother, right, Frances Catherine Kirk, who after divorcing Walter married James Price, shown below her photo.
